What I've Done Part 2
By : Linkin Park
Title: What I've Done
In this farewell
there's no blood
there's no alibi
cause i've drawn regret
from the truth
of a thousand lies
So let mercy come
and wash away
What I've Done
i'll face myself
to cross out what i've become
erase myself
and let go of what i've done
put to rest
what you have thought of me
while i've cleaned this slate
with the hands
of uncertainty
so let mercy come
and wash away
what i've done
i'll face myself
to cross out what i've become
erase myself
and let go of what i've done
for what i've done
i start again
and whatever pain may come
today this ends
i'm forgiving what i've done
i'll face myself
to cross out what i've become
erase myself
and let go of what i've done
What i've Done
Forgiving What i've done
===================================================================
Just feel like Posting about the lyrics of 'What I've Done' . Since its one of the most well known of this long awated album. Will soon be posting about 'Bleed It Out' and 'Given Up'.
===================================================================
Side Notes:
One of the last song finished for the album, the lyrics for this song were intended to work on many levels, including freedom, art, and death metaphors.
===================================================================
Its being long since i heard of Linkin Park's Crew. Mainly Chester's Screaming (lawl).
Althought this album feels abit wierd (due to the naming issue) but over all, once settled down for their singins style, it gets catchy.
To me, this album came at the right time. To me Linkin Park Tracks use to be my 'self checking' songs, mainly because that the songs they sang ring with my internally well, more like as if i am facing a mirror and watching myself from the song.
it also bought out the fear of the past hauntings on me.....
